This WP focuses on the development of algorithms for the analysis of the XCT data, generated in WP3, WP4, WP5, and WP6. It includes the development of algorithms for quantitative void characterization and visualization, of inner structures of composite components concerning porosity, main/local orientation of cracks, delaminations, and structure as well as fiber/resign content, and voids as well as for the quantification of the geometry, orientation and shape of the inner structures. WP7 also involves the visualization of the results obtained in the previous work packages, and the handling of these large XCT datasets. Finally, the developed methods will be compared to standard ultrasonic testing and micro-cuts.


This WP is related to WP3, WP4, WP5, and WP6.  The data generated in these WPs shall be analyzed and visualized. Also it is related to WP8, where the analysis results generated in WP7 shall be used as input data for CFRP models.<


The most important outcome of this WP is expected to be the development of algorithms and tools to analyze the inner structure of CFRPs.
